Is my information secure?
Any information collected from you is for the sole purpose of processing your order. It will not be sold, exchanged, or otherwise disclosed to anyone. I employ industry-accepted standards in protecting your personal information during its transmission. I use SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology to protect your sensitive information on Terra Kind Studio during its transmission.
Do I need a PayPal account to pay with PayPal? What payment methods do you accept?
No, non-PayPal members can pay with their credit card via the PayPal interface without an account. Just look for a link to pay without logging in.
Why am I taken to a third-party site for payment of my order?
I value your security. Rather than host credit card processing or sensitive data transmission through the Terra Kind Studio website, I’ve decided to use PayPal to provide my customers with the most secure checkout process possible. I DO NOT store credit card information in my databases, nor is any sensitive cardholder data processed through the Terra Kind Studio website at any point in the transaction. To comply with PCI Compliance standards, the trusted name of PayPal, handle all steps in the transaction process directly on their sites, including payment data collection and data submission. My customers can rest assured that their transaction is safe and secure.
When will I get my order?
Because I am a one-woman small art shop and keep a low inventory, it may take up to 2 weeks for you to receive your archival art print, depending on your shipping location. If you need your print sooner, email Terra Kind Studio with the subject line “Please Expedite My Order” and tell us if you’d like to pay a bit extra for faster service. I can’t guarantee but will do my best to accommodate special timelines.
How do you ship?
I ship by USPS First class for single orders and Priority mail for over two items. A flat rate per order includes my shipping material costs and the pricing for your location and the weight of the items. Smaller prints are shipped flat and larger prints are shipped rolled in a tube.
How can I track my order?
I can email you the tracking information if you request it. Please note that tracking numbers do not update or show up immediately on the USPS website.
What if my package gets lost or arrives damaged?
I use best practices when preparing artwork to be shipped. That said, I cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged during delivery. Once an order leaves the studio, it is out of my control how it is handled. However, I will decide about replacements on a case-by-case basis.
How do I send you a question about my order?
Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I respond to emails Monday-Friday, excluding holidays. If you email me over the weekend, I will respond to you the following Monday.
What about returns and refunds?
I consider all returns and exchanges on a case-by-case basis. This is due to Terra Kind Studio’s giving back policy of donating a percentage of its annual sales to environmental nonprofits. Your purchase helps make this contribution possible. However, I want you to be happy and will do my best to resolve any issues. Refunds for returns exclude the original shipping costs. I will email you the new shipping costs for exchanges.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, I only ship in the United States, Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada. I may consider shipping internationally in the future.
Terra Kind Studio showcases the creative work of visual artist and designer Kristin Maija Peterson. Growing up among prairies, lakes, rivers, and oak savannas along with her project work with environmental nonprofit organizations have collectively influenced her creative path. Kristin works in watercolor, graphite, color pencil, oil pastels and pen and ink, interpreting in detail the beautiful chaos within native wild spaces and its inhabitants found living there. She sees all living creatures as kin and is always kind to spiders.
