There are many varieties of Maples but the Sugar Maple (Acer saccharin) won our hearts. It’s the state tree for New York, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Vermont and as we see by its flag, the Sugar Maple is the national tree of Canada. Long before Europeans arrived, First Nations tapped the Sugar Maple tree for her sweet syrup. During a joyous annual festival, children were allowed to spill the hot maple syrup onto the snow to harden into candy. In autumn, she never disappoints in giving us a flaming display of rich color. If I had to pick a tree that conjures “hygge” for me, it would be the Sugar Maple.

Description

Paper 140 (300 g/m2 ) acid-free, archival Canson® cold press watercolor paper to give your print that genuine watercolor feel. Each print carries the artist’s unique circle-K signature and is accompanied by the artist’s Certificate of Authenticity, proving your limited edition print’s origin, quality, and value. Your print will arrive beautifully packaged with care, ready for framing, and shipped in eco-friendly materials.

Art prints are purchased unframed. One easy and affordable recommendation is to frame your new botanical watercolor 11 x 14” print in a frame by PROJECT 62, a brand that most Target stores carry. Only use Artist Tape or Linen Hinge Tape to adhere your print to the mat. Never use scotch or duct tape as these are not acid-free and will deteriorate your print over time. Terra Kind Studio is a one-woman shop. It may take up to 2 weeks for you to receive your fine art print order depending on where you are located. I ship out orders every Tuesday. If you place an order on Wednesday, your order will be shipped the following Tuesday. As the year-end holidays approach, I do my best to send out orders as quickly as possible.
